Six runs batted in from Hannah Stankiewicz helped lead Lakeshore Lancers JV past South Haven 23-7 on Thursday. Stankiewicz drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the second, a groundout in the second, and a double in the fourth.

South Haven scored five runs in the second inning, but Lakeshore Lancers JV still managed to pull out the victory. South Haven big bats were led by D White, S Lyons, and E Schnedu, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Lakeshore Lancers JV got things started in the first inning when Stankiewicz singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Lakeshore Lancers JV notched 13 runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Stankiewicz, Lanie Gage, and Claire Robinson, walks by Olivia Bell and Sam Rodriguez, groundouts by Stankiewicz and Olivia DenDooven, by Natalie Spenner, a fielder’s choice by Leah Brush, an error on a ball put in play by Gage, and a double by DenDooven.

DenDooven pitched Lakeshore Lancers JV to victory. She surrendered seven runs on six hits over four innings, striking out one and walking zero.

A Eddy took the loss for South Haven. She surrendered 23 runs on 13 hits over four innings, striking out five.

Lakeshore Lancers JV racked up 13 hits on the day. Stankiewicz, Robinson, Bell, Gage, and DenDooven all collected multiple hits for Lakeshore Lancers JV. Robinson and Stankiewicz each collected three hits to lead Lakeshore Lancers JV.

White went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead South Haven in hits.
