Lakeshore traveled to Niles tonight for the final SMAC West contest between the two as the Vikings transition to the BCS Conference next fall. On a night Alycia Patterson became the Vikings all-time leading scorer, Niles took command early and never allowed Lakeshore momentum in the 64-22 victory.

Patterson outscored the Lancers herself as she led everyone with 28 points. Equally as damaging, Palmer scored 14 points as the Vikings had two scorers in double figures.

Lakeshore was led by Riley Pifer with eight points. Hollee Hercik and Morgan Tillman rounded out the top three with four points each.

The Lancers head into the post season next week as they await the winner of the Kalamazoo Central/Portage Northern game. The Lancers will play next Wednesday at home in the nightcap.
