The undefeated Buchanan girl’s basketball team put their streak on the line against the Lakeshore Lancers tonight inside legendary Farnum Gym on the campus of Benton Harbor High School as both teams looked to advance to Friday’s district championship game. Buchanan led 19-5 after one quarter and held on to top the Lancers 56-34 as the Bucks (12-0) advance to face South Haven Friday night for the championship.

The BCS Red Division Champion was led by Faith Carson’s 19 points with LaBria Austin adding 13 points.

Grace Conway and Olivia Trivedi both scored nine points to lead the Lancer offensive attack.

Lakeshore finishes their season with a 4-7 record which includes wins against Portage Northern, Loy Norrix, South Haven, and Berrien Springs.
