The Lancers advanced to the Regional Final with a 14-1 win over Marshall. They got a great pitching performance from Jaidyn Morris who scattered 5 hits and 1 run over 6 innings.

The offense got things started in the first inning when Jared Evans drove in Jake Trivedi who had reached after being hit by a pitch. Marshall would answer the Lancers in the first with their lone run of the game. Lakeshore would regain the lead in the 2nd inning scoring 3 runs to take a 4-1 lead. Riley Adams would drive in a run to start the scoring in the second. Cam Dalrymple capped the scoring in the second with a two run single. The game remained 4-1 through 4 innings before the Lancers would bust the game open in the 5th when Jared Evans and Oli Carmody each would drive in a run to push the lead to 6-1. The scoring would continue with four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. Cam Dalrymple led the Lancer offensive attack with three hits (two doubles) and seven RBI’s. Jared Evans would add two hits and three RBI’s and Oli Carmody chipped in three singles and two RBI’s.

The Lancers advance to the regional final on Saturday at approximately 12:30 at Edwardsburg. They will face Otsego (24-4). If they capture the regional championship, they will play in the quarterfinal at Edwardsburg immediately following the conclusion of the first game.
