The Lakeshore Lancers fell to 4th ranked Harper Creek 42-24 in their first trip to Beaver Stadium since 2011. The Lancers finish the season 9-2 while Harper Creek moves to 11-0 and on to the MHSAA Regional.

Quarterback Joel Brawley completed 17 passes on 36 attempts for 193 yards and three touchdowns. Connor Brawley caught nine of those passes for 151 and two touchdowns, including a 43 yard strike that cut the Beavers lead in half early in the second quarter. Damian King caught two passes including his touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Zeke Rohl added 66 yards rushing and Tyler Sites added 37 yards on six carries.

Jake Taylor led the defense with seven tackles, including two for a loss, and an interception. Korbin Rolling and Bray Plomb added five tackles while Tyler Hill and Cody Carlisle had four tackles.

Lakeshore recorded its 30th straight winning season, the longest active streak in the MHSAA, and continued its playoff streak appearances to 20 in a row. Lakeshore also won the SMAC West Championship for the first time since 2014. Thank you seniors for an outstanding season.
