Game Recap

The Lakeshore Lancer softball team to Ida in the semi-final game.
The Lancers took the early lead in the first inning as Cassidy Zavoral singled, Taylor Simon walked and Olivia Freehling singled to left. Cassidy scored when the ball got past the left fielder. Ida tied the game in the fourth inning on a hit, sacrifice bunt and a hit.
In the fifth inning Ida’s Lambert tripled and scored on a double by Tuller who advanced to home on a throwing error.
Lakeshore closed the gap in the seventh as Sierra Ciesielski singled , advanced to second on a sacrifice by Teah Lint. Sierra scored as a throwing error trying to get her at third was made.

Lauren Kreps earned the win for Ida. She went seven innings, giving up two runs, five hits, and striking out one. Taylor Simon took the loss for Lancers. She threw seven innings, giving up three runs, eight hits, striking out four, and walking zero.
Cassidy Zavoral, Mahri Younger, Olivia Freehling, Sierra Ciesielski, and Lindsay Zavoral each collected one hit to lead Lancers.
Ida collected eight hits. Brooklyn Woelmer had 2 singles.
K Lambert had 2 triples.
Duvall had 2 singles.

Lakeshore’s season ends with a record of 33-7-1.
